As cities and regions face increasing demands for infrastructure that is efficient, inclusive, and resilient, the engineering and built environment sectors are re-evaluating how they plan, deliver, and manage mobility systems. From metropolitan authorities to utility providers, engineering consultancies to infrastructure clients, there is growing recognition that Building Information Modelling (BIM) is no longer optional it is a strategic enabler for integrated, logistics-driven infrastructure delivery.
Building on the success and momentum of our previous conference, this year we sharpen our focus on urban infrastructure particularly buildings, plants, engineering services (water, sewer, roads, electrical, housing and public open spaces) as the backbone of urban systems in cities. With the built environment sectors progressing hand-in-hand with key stakeholders, the 2025 conference will showcase practical advancements, institutional adoption, and lessons learned across government and industry.
This evolution reaffirms our goal: to urban digital transformation with implementation realities across the full infrastructure lifecycle from policy and procurement to project delivery and facilities management.
By embedding BIM within city-level urban infrastructure strategies, public spatial planning and urban systems can be coordinated through data-driven processes that promote transparency, resilience, and stakeholder alignment. The session delves into the intersection of BIM, GIS, and digital twins to unlock critical insights for spatial equity, intermodal urban integration, and lifecycle asset management of cities infrastructure that unlocks the cities of tomorrow.
In today’s rapidly urbanising world, cities are complex, living systems where the movement of people, goods, services, and data defines the efficiency and inclusivity of urban life. The future of infrastructure lies not only in its physical form but in the digital intelligence that powers its design, delivery, and operation.
This year’s conference invites built environment professionals, mobility planners, infrastructure clients, and technology experts to engage on how Building Information Modelling (BIM) is evolving as a strategic enabler of integrated, data-driven, and future-fit urban infrastructure systems. The conference serves as a cutting-edge platform for Spatial Planning, Architecture, Engineering, Construction, Operations & Maintenance and Facility Managers (SPAECOFM) professionals and academics to explore the latest advancements in BIM technology. As BIM converges with GIS, Digital Twins, IoT, and AI, with Occupational Health & Safety thinking as guiding pillars it provides the foundation for unlocking the logistics and asset management behind sustainable infrastructure development from multimodal urban networks to utility corridors and logistics hubs where cities emerges with evolving technological and digital advancements to create and maintain high level and quality capacity to provide services.
Whether you’re involved in planning a mega-project, managing municipal upgrades, or rethinking mobility through a smart city lens, this platform explores the full lifecycle application of BIM from spatial planning and design to procurement, construction, and asset operation.
